Different modes of payment in India

You will be surprised by the large number of options available in India for making payments – both offline and online.

NEFT: National Electronic Funds Transfer
RTGS: Real-time gross settlement systems
IMPS: Immediate Payment Service
USSD: Unstructured Supplementary Service Data. Know more here.
UPI: Unified Payment Interface. Know more here.
AEPS: Aadhaar Enabled Payment System. It is not necessary to have a card in order to do a transaction using AEPS. Know more here
